CL TAMBOUR LOCKS
The CL Tambour Locks are available in five designs for many applications across lockers, cabinets, desk and office furniture. This range is so versatile that it can be installed across both wooden and metal furniture.
- CL Tambour lock range has a square base and is made of diecast zinc.
- This lock range has an interchangeable barrel system.
- The lock can accept our range of CC, CD, GA dimple and CL4 wave design barrels. Barrels need to be ordered separately from the lock bodies.
- Master and removal key available.
- The key is removable in both the locked and unlocked positions.
A-618 MODEL
The A-618-22-01 lock is used for longer horizontal doors using aluminium bars to lock into the two sides of the cabinet. The product has a top locking bolt that secures at the top of the cabinet. It has offset edge bars that connect to the lock body to engage and lift or lower locking anti tilt bars on either side of the cabinet.
- Ideal for two drawer units.
- Turns 180 degrees to operate.
- Has an 18mm cylinder diameter with a 22mm standard model projection.
- The fixing hole size is 19mm and is suitable for timber door thicknesses of between 16mm-20mm.
- The lock is supplied with a lock housing, bezel, anti tilt bars, accessories, L strike (DK041) and plastic guides to hold the bar in place.
- Available in a chrome plate finish.
A-605 MODEL
The A-605-22-01 lock is used for smaller sliding tambour or roller shutter doors. It is made of diecast zinc and is distinctive by its claw style locking bolt. It is based on the same 42mm x 42mm footprint of a drawer lock.
- Has an 18mm cylinder diameter with a 22mm standard model projection.
- The fixing hole size is 19mm and is suitable for timber door thicknesses of between 16mm-20mm.
- The lock is supplied with the lock housing, bezel and a DK102 strike plate.
- Turns 90 degrees to operate.
- Available in a chrome plate finish.
A-636V MODEL
The A-636V-22-01 is a great new lock for locking double tambour doors together. Featuring two hook prongs which positively lock into the striker and in doing so eliminate the possibility of lifting the door out of the lock to break in. It is made to lock vertically, primarily into sliding double door cabinets. In some instances, it can be adapted to fit into a horizontal locking situation.
- Has an 18mm cylinder diameter with a 22mm standard model projection.
- The fixing hole size is 19mm and is suitable for timber door thicknesses of between 16mm-20mm.
- The lock is supplied with the lock housing, bezel and a R155 strike plate.
- Turns 180 degrees to operate.
- Available in a chrome plate finish – the lock body is black (although hidden).
A-637V MODEL
The A-637V-22-01 is a vertically locking tambour lock that works ideally with sliding timber cabinets. It has a two-prong hook locking action that when locked engages into a flat plate strike (DK175). In some instances, it can be adapted to fit into a horizontal locking situation.

- The lock is supplied with the lock housing, bezel and a DK175 strike plate.
